Ella Myers is an assistant professor at the University of Utah with a joint appointment in the Department of Political Science and the Program in Gender Studies. She received a PhD in Political Science from Northwestern University and a BA in Politics from the University of California, Santa Cruz. She also works and teaches in the fields of feminist theory and critical race studies. Her current book project, The Turn to Ethics and its Democratic Costs, critically assesses the rise of the category of "ethics" in recent political thought, tracking its significance for the theory and practice of collective citizen action.
